Planet Earth is full of secret, conspiratorial, mysterious and mystical places that either you don't know about or you could not visit if you wanted to.

We will list the top 5 places that the general public has no access to or rather impossible for the public to go because the places are remote.

5. Club 33

Club 33 is a private club located in the New Orleans Square part of Disneyland. Officially preserved as a secret feature of the park, the entrance of the club is located next to the Blue Bayou Restaurant at “33 Royal Street” with the entrance identified by an address plate with the number 33 written on it.

Fees for joining range from 10 – 30 thousand US dollars and membership comes with a car park. If you want to join the club, you have to go to the end of the fourteen year waiting list.

4. Ise Grand Shrine

The Ise Grand Shrine in Japan is the most sacred shrine in Japan. It is assigned to Amaterasu (the Sun goddess) which has been in existence since 4BC.

Strange thing about Ise Grand Shrine is that the shrine is demolished and rebuilt every 20 years in keeping with the Shinto idea of death and rebirth (the next rebuilding will be in 2013).

So unless we have a Japanese prince or princess reading our blog, No body will ever see anything more than the roof of the Ise Grand Shrine.

3. Area 51

One of the places that the readers are likely to see on this list. Area 51 is a nickname for a military base that is located in the southern portion of Nevada in the United States of America.

The base’s primary purpose is to support development and testing of experimental aircraft and weapons systems. There is no access to common people, as you can see from the picture below.

2. Mezhgorye

Mezhgorye is a closed town in Russia (there is no access to the city) which is believed to house people working on the highly secret Mount Yamantaw. The town was founded in 1979.

Exhuming projects have been observed by U.S. satellite imagery as recently as the late 1990s. Repeated U.S. questions have yielded several different responses from the Russian government regarding Mount Yamantaw.

They have said it is a mining site, a warehouse for Russian treasures, a food storage area, and a bunker for leaders in case of nuclear war.

1. Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center

This is a place that is not only closed to the public, but it is a place that the public hope to never have to enter. In most “end of the world” films like 2012, we see these days, there is always a highly classified secret area where United States government officials and a chosen few get to go in the hopes that they can escape the end of the world.

The Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center is the real thing Indeed. It was set up in the 1950s due to the cold war but continues to operate today. It is considered as the “last hope” area.

  10. It pisses me off that the government would make a place where only the government could survive if something that severe happened.... That just proves that the government does not care about us at all. They take our hard earned money and use it to build something like that for them. Well when and if the end of the world happens I have a news flash for the government, everything is going to go.. Not just going to leave some private building to survive. Unless you have some special deal worked out with god that is...

  11. WOW!!!! IVE ALWAYS THOUGHT as a child, I bet there's places. In thin big old world that most don't know about but I never imagine to the point of this extreme. To be so secret that you would tear down a place. Every so often for a rebirth. Wow!!!!! Come on!!

  12. Wow this world never fails to amaze the hell out of me, but that's what keeps it interesting and keeps you hungry for more knowledge, I must say this rite here, its all the works of Disney we live in a world of make believe, its all the matrix!!!!.

  13. Sad actually. We all posses the power to have this beautiful outlook with life as children but to come of age its a horrifying shame we are such a wide mass of "little" people.. enslaved and allowed our minds to believe even a tree is not free anything and everything has a price, leaving it with value and in the end leaving it to SEEM impossible to have, posses, or experience...........

  14. Club 33 is no big deal... no more magical than the rest of Disney. It is a little bit of seclusion in an otherwise chaotic theme park.

  15. Strange looking at Google Earth the two places pointed out for Mezghorye are two separate towns called Tatly and Kuz'Elga. At least that's what I see looking into it further. The picture on this page is too blurry but the outlines of the two sites match up as well as the location.

  16. Where are your resource citations? I do hope you are not relying on Wikipedia and presenting their information as fact. Most accredited colleges in this country bar students from referring to the site because anyone can edit it and twist it around and it can not be considered factual. Please cite...

  20. If the Russians are smart, Mount Yamanau is an "underground" city in case of a global emergency, such as the consequences of climate change. If I had the resources, I'd build one too for myself.
